Specialized Residential Support for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

A stabilized Adult Residential Care Home for Individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.

G&C Residential Services is dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build stable, meaningful lives within their communities. We provide individualized residential support for people whose needs may include behavioral health challenges, complex placement histories, or transitions from other care settings. Through structured daily living, coordinated services, and strong partnerships with families and professional support teams, we create an environment where individuals can develop skills, maintain stability, and work toward greater independence.

G&C Residential Services operates a California-licensed Adult Residential Facility (ARF) in Oakland, providing Level 4I services through the Regional Center of the East Bay. Our home offers 24-hour support in a comfortable residential setting, with an emphasis on individualized care, community integration, and person-centered planning.

Our Residential Approach

Our Four Core Principles

Our residential approach is designed to support stability, compliance, and individualized care within a calm home environment.

Stability & Structure

Residents benefit from consistent staffing, predictable routines, and a residential setting designed to minimize disruption.

Quaility & Accountability

Operations align with applicable Community Care Licensing requirements and Regional Center service expectations.

Individualized Support

Care is tailored to each resident’s needs, strengths, and pace, with an emphasis on dignity, safety, and long-term placement success.

Community Intergration

Meaningful progress extends beyond the home. We encourage and support each resident’s participation in community life through day programs, employment opportunities, recreational activities, family engagement, and other individualized goals. By building routines, relationships, and connections with the community, we help residents develop greater independence, and long-term stability.
